My Story

When I was thirteen I received a Christmas present, a Kodac Brownie camera and Kodak developing kit. Add on to that my passion for the View-Master slides of National Parks, travel and nature, I was hooked on photography. My first camera was a Kodak Brownie. When I was a senior in high school, I progressed to a Argus C3 35 mm camera. However, through many moves, I lost all my negatives. While in the Army in Germany, I progressed to my first SLR camera, a Pentax Spotmatic. This also lead me, again to, do my own developing ( Black and White - Color was to much of a pain to work with). Since that time I have worked with both a Nikon 35 mm camera and now nikon digital cameras.

With the advent of digital process, I have focused on color photography. Most of my black and white photos in this site are scans of my old 35 mm negatives.
